Bench Space

Bench Space

Students who wish to complete their studies this summer semester can use the workshops, provided that all hygiene regulations are observed and appointments have been made.
In any case, please contact the workshop manager first by email. Describe briefly your project and the time required!

Pay attention to the hygiene concept of the HBK Braunschweig as well as to the current information on coronavirus.

The workshop
The bench room is available to all students for model-building. The workshop offers a selection of tools for working with wood, plastic (in foam form) and metal. Tools can also be borrowed. The workshop is equipped with Arduino microcontroller boards for creating digital, electronic and interactive objects and installations.
It is also possible to arrange the use of digital tools, including an Ultimaker 3D printer and a 60W laser cutter, at cost price for students. The workshop has an extraction unit, making it suitable for painting and finishing.

The bench room can be accessed outside of general opening hours by registering in advance (please use the online registration form).
