Analogue Printing

Students who wish to complete their studies this summer semester can use the workshops, provided that all hygiene regulations are observed and appointments have been made.
In any case, please contact the workshop manager first by email. Describe briefly your project and the time required!

Pay attention to the hygiene concept of the HBK Braunschweig as well as to the current information on coronavirus.

The workshop
The workshop is equipped with a Heidelberg ‘Tiegel’ (platen) A4 printing press, which may be used under qualified supervision. The printing press is suitable for production printing. Blocks can be printed in letterpress, e.g. hand typesetting or linocut.

To be agreed in advance.

Induction courses
Workshop Practice/open workshop (WP course)

You may use your own paper for printing. A selection of letterpress inks is available for use in the workshop. If you are only printing a very small number of copies, these can also be printed on the available Korrex hand press.
