Mentoring Programme

Participation in the mentoring programme is a condition of the award.
Braunschweig Projects scholarship holders can choose their personal mentor at the HBK from among the university’s professors.

They are also supported by student tutors, helping them to become integrated into normal student life at the university.
The programme also facilitates networking across a broad range of art institutions in Lower Saxony.

A jury made up of prestigious artists evaluates and selects the applications for the award, and the scholarship holders have the opportunity to work more closely with individual members of the jury over the course of the year.

The work created during the residencies is shown at a public exhibition at the end of the year and thus gains broad visibility beyond the University.
